LIEAP – Low Income Energy Assistance 2022 – Just a friendly reminder! Completed applications may be submitted by mail but must be received in a DCF office by 5:00 p.m. on March 31, 2022 at any Department for Children and Families Service Center. If you need assistance finding your nearest office address, you can call 1.800.432.0043 or you can go to http://www.dcf.ks.gov/services/Pages/DCFOfficeLocatorMap.aspx and enter your city and it will provide you with information about the nearest office. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE APPLICATION MUST BE RECEIVED IN A DCF OFFICE NO LATER THAN 5 P.M. ON MARCH 31, 2022. APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THAT DATE AND TIME WILL BE DENIED.

Water bills going unpaid? Are water bills going unpaid by individual or families working with DCF? There is help available to assist qualifying Kansans with their water bills. The Emergency Water Assistance (EWAP) program will help restore or prevent disconnection of drinking water and wastewater services. Encourage Kansans to visit www.dcf.ks.gov/EWAP for information about qualifying and applying for the program. Flyer attached

Universal Class – FREE courses if you sign up through the KS State Library. Do you know there are several free courses that you can get certificates and CEUs in Universal Class? All you have to do is sign up through the Kansas State Library.. Don’t have a Kansas State Library Card. You can get one free through your local public library!!

http://kslib.info/uclass Once you sign up through the Kansas state Library, you can sign in at www.universalclass.com anytime to take the free courses. If you set up your account without the Kansas state Library there are costs associated with the courses. Attached a walk through on how to change the language.
