Resources: Evergy & Rental Assistance

Evergy's-Moratorium Extension- Evergy has extended their suspension of disconnects for all residential customers until May 3, 2021. It was set to expire on March 1, however Evergy is allowing time for Kansas customers to receive LIEP and funds from Emergency Rental Assistance Programs. Late fees and deposits will also be waived until date provided above.

Kansas Renters will be able to apply for Kansas Rental Assistance starting March 15, 2021. these funds are managed by Kansas Housing Resource Corporation (KHRC). The same income guidelines will apply. for more information visit the following link:
