Water, Wichita, KS 67202. • This information is updated regularly; please call 211 for the most current listings THANKSGIVING FOOD BOX Saturday, November 19 Central Community Church will distribute a Thanksgiving food bag to the first 2,500 vehicles (one meal per vehicle) starting at 6:30 am on Saturday, November 19. Included in the bag will be a turkey and fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner. No paperwork is required. One bag provided per vehicle. The church is located at 6100 W. Maple. Distribution begins at 6:30 am. Walk-ups, people coming off the bus, or people on bicycles cannot be assisted. Bread of Life is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway from 9 am – 3 pm at 1301 E. Galena. New clients should bring photo ID and social security card. Early arrival is discouraged (not before 6 am). Please call 689- 6866 if you need additional information. College Hill United Methodist Church will distribute turkeys from 9 – 11 am while supply lasts. The church is located at 2930 E 1st Street. Photo ID will be required if you have not previously visited the food pantry. For more information, call 683-4643. Monday, Nov 21 – Wednesday, Nov 23 United Methodist Open Door is collecting food and turkeys for Thanksgiving food boxes in the month of November. Please deliver donated food items to the Community Food Ministry location at 2130 E. 21st St. North from 9am – 4pm, Monday - Friday. Please use the food donation entrance off of 21st Street. Thanksgiving Food Distribution will be Monday, Nov. 21 – Wednesday, Nov. 23 between 8:30 am – noon and 1 – 4:30 pm each day at 2130 E. 21st St N. Meridian Ave, from approximately 11 am – 2 pm while supply lasts. No registration required, please call 522-7148 for more information. The Lord’s Diner will serve meals for Thanksgiving Day Dinner, November 25th at both locations, 520 N. Broadway and 2825 S. Hillside from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Guests will have the option to either come in to sit down and enjoy their meal or take it to go. To go meals will also be available through the food trucks at the following locations: • Atwater Neighborhood Resource Center, 2755 E. 19th St, 4-6 pm - To-Go meals • Evergreen Neighborhood Resource Center, 2700 N.
