The 2nd Chance Resource and Career Fair is an information and networking
event for previously incarcerated and justice involved individuals looking
for helpful community resources, job opportunities, and education
pathways available to them for help and career advancement.
Immigrant and refugees resource fair – Saturday, Sept. 17th from 8-1pm at Wichita North High school. Flyer attached EN & SP.
September Covid 19 mobile and partners vaccine clinics – This is hosted by the SG county health department. See flyer attached (EN and SP) for dates, locations and additional information.
Impound Payment program- Having trouble paying your vehicle impound fees? Apply for the City of Wichita Impound payment program. See flyer attached.
The arthritis Walk with ease program- Sept. 14th-Oct.17th (Wednesdays) at K-State Research and Extension. The Arthritis Foundation Walk With Ease Program is an exercise program that can reduce pain and improve overall health. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease. See the attached flyer.
SG County Community Health Summit- Thursday, Sept 22nd from 9-12 pm. What is driving health on our community?. Join speakers from the Sedgwick County Health Department and featured guests for insights and key findings from the 2022 Community Health Assessment.
